Who thought at 19 I would have a baby sister, well she's here, I'm rather late about this because she was born on the 15th of October, weighing 7.3 pounds. It didn't quite hit me, until I saw her, she's beautiful, she's a blessing. Now I only hope that her birthday is not one of those, I so conveniently forget (its not my fault, I dunno what happens, I'm working on it). She is still at the hospital, being observed, my prayer is that she comes home soon. I can't wait to hold her, see her smile, feed her, watch her grow. This one has really hit home, I'm so excited!
My God bless you Mia, may He shine His glory upon you, protect you and nature you, because only He can, and I promise to be here, always, to support you, listen to you and help you, in every way that I can. (Hope you read this one day, I love you)

I'm confessing that I stumble
and need CHRIST to be my guide.

I am blessed of the Lord. I thank Jesus because of the gift of salvation and I pride myself in the opportunity to call myself a son of God. I testify of His goodness, mercy and grace. The Lord has been wonderful to me and He never ceases to amaze me. He is my all in all.

I believe in His power and wisdom.
I believe in His unconditional love.

Yesterday I read a very encouraging story about Nick Vujicic who was born with no limbs and gives motivational speeches all around the world spreading the word of God, even though most of us would look at him as an individual with serious impediments. What I ask myself is whether I would have done the same if I were in his shoes. See the bible clearly says in Romans 8:37 " In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us", and no where does it list our abilities, our looks, or other peoples opinions of who we are. In the gospel of John, chapter 5 we see a severe case of a man who had waited beside the pool in Bethesda for 38 yrs, waiting for his moment to jump in and receive his healing. The interesting part about it however, is that Jesus picked him out of the crowd and healed him, and he then became a testimony of the goodness of the Lord throughout the country. What I see is an opportunity for God to glorify himself, especially in our weaknesses. So Nick is an encouragement to me, and I hope to YOU. A great example of a man who didn't focus on his weaknesses but, looked upon the Lord to use him as a vessel for God's glory. Be blessed.

God is Love and Love is 1 Corinthians 13. In light of this the first letter of John tells us how God chose to express this love: 1 John 4:7-10 ((7) Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. (8) He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (9) In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. (10) In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.)This ties in with John 3:16-17, stating that he sent his son to redeem us from eternal condemnation, so I urge us all to step into the light, for therein lies joy, hope, comfort, peace, harmony, true success, grace, mercy, strength, u name it.
